beach and books

Heyy.



I finally Went to the beach last weekend. Oh how I have missed you! One of my favourite things ever. being the clumsy person I am I dropped half my jumper sleeve in the wet sand and my shoes. :/ I was trying to move away from the waves lol.
I didn't take any photos but did bit of spontaneous shopping (well my friend mostly i got a hat which is too big um I think I have a small head) a hike up the skillion we SAW A WHALE! ok just it spouting water three tines but it was still kinda cool. then got stranded for like an hour and a half since the timetable was fucked but I got home. An awesome day :)

Also walked in the rain one of the things I like doing this was the picture from my window. I also made a healthy brekkie, French toast with apple :) yum!

I am a huge bookworm and will happily waste hours reading/in the library the books I got were:

Reckless by Cornelia Funke
I didn't like her inkheart series at all it was confusing but I like this so far it is interesting and good :) I don't care what the font is most of the time but this one is just cool.

Meridan by amber kizer
The last one and I actually bought this for $3 at a book sale! Cheap as!
I love love this book and would happily pay 20 it hooked me from the first page  I wanna see what happens between the main characters, left me wondering what was going on I really enjoyed this, I want the next book so bad! Totally worth buying and I can't wait for the next

September Favorites

 Maybelline Baby lips.
I actually bought this a few months ago,  and just realised I've already used half! I heard such good things about this lip balm and I always like trying new ones. I got a colour one, (mine is called Berry Crush) and it is awesome.
Its like a dark pinky colour and it is so moisturising I just love it, I like how its almost like lipstick just not as scary and have been using it lots.

The next is eyeliner. One of my must haves, and Mascara. atm I just have Avon stuff and they are pretty nice. I got two gel eyeliner pencils, one a light goldish colour and the other a mostly brown and I think slightly purple one.
I love them they stay on for a good 8 or so hours before they rub off and the colours are really nice.though the light goldish one would prob suit someone with paler skin, you can hardly see it on me.

Curly Hair.
As I have straight hair I love anything that makes my hair look more interesting or gives it texture. This definitely does that.
I have a Remington one I love it.the only thing I don't like is it like has the shape already and I can't make big curls, but it is a great curler and is heaps easy to use. I love tight springy curls, and I would recommend it specially if you want small curls too.


Braided Hair.
this is another hair thing I've been loving. Nearly every night I've been putting my hair in a French braid, and it gives you beach/ sorta crinkly waves/curls and its a great quick hairstyle.
Also I love doing the fishtail braid which I just got. what are your favourite hairstyles? Its getting hot here which means ponytails and more ponytails for me. The pains of having long hair

Clothes.
I miss my disco pants and have had to officially out them away for next winter, but I can now bring out the shorts, t shirts and bikinis! Beach here I come.

I have entirely way too many of the same thing but I've been liking my penguin crop top (I just LOVE penguins they are adorable and so coool) and my tshirts haha  I liked  the ones from Supre so much I now own the white, black and grey ones. I should really have more colours...my wardrobe seems to be mostly black.


Food.
this month I've been loving Fruit salad, smoothies and green tea.
I'm normally a strictly coffee girl, but I decided to try tea, and green tea is supposed to be healthy or something. I love it its really nice and I know your not supposed to have milk in it but I put it in anyway. I like to have it after lunch though its going to be too hot to have it soon :( have you tried anything new this month?

smoothies are one of my all time favourite things and anyone who know me, knows I just have to have one every time I go out somewhere. loll. my favourites are the Berry ones, I love anything with blueberry's in it, and they taste great, a close second are the mango ones. I've also been loving fruit salads they're just SOO yummy and makes you feel good.

Bourjois and Toni and Guy Review

I'm going to do a review on the Bourjois Colour Boost Lipstick, and two Toni&Guy products.

 

 

Bourjois lipstick

that I bought was peach on the beach, which I'm still not too sure about that it goes with my skin colour. but eh. I got it mainly because of Zoe Sugg or Zoella on Youtube because she raved about them so much ha-ha.

 

 I only bought one because i got mine off ebay and couldn't afford to get 2. i feel kinda stupid though because I checked Priceline half an hour later and i could of got them for $11 each. I payed $25 for one! -_- fml.

 

 

 I really like it has amazing colour and the colour stays for a long time and then you have to re-apply. it is super moisturising, which I need as my lips are really dry and crack easily, even in summer. I can't say I like the taste and smell of it though. it was exactly like a wax crayon...however I still really like it and I will purchase a couple of others.

 

I rate it 8/10

 

 



the next product I want to talk about is the Toni&Guy Sea Salt texturizing Spray and Smoothing Serum. I got the spray here and the serum here

 

sea salt spray

again I got this because of Zoe. loll. at the time I got both of these products for $20 and as they are normally like $16 each, I had to buy them. I originally just wanted the spray, but who can resit a bargain?

 

I love love love this product! it works graet and leaves me with slightly curly hair and if I braid it in a French braid overnight,( I do this nearly every night)  it goes mega wavy and messy. great for school!its a 200ml bottle so it'll last me ages. on the plus side it also smells amazing. I normally apply this to dry hair, though it works for damp as well. I am so glad I bought this, it just makes your hair look great.

 

overall I give this product a 10/10.

Glamour smoothing serum.

 I quite enjoy using this product. the ends of hair can get quite dry and rough so I thought id try this. I gotta say it works really well. you just squeeze a few drops onto your palms and smooth it into your hair. the only downside is it leaves your palms slightly oily. it does exactly what it says, and I haven't had any frizz at all, and the ends of my hair are a lot less dry.  I love it.

 

I give this product a 8/10

I went shopping for the first time in ages  the other day. I love shopping I just don't get to do it often :)


 I bought this spring dress for $30 which I thought was a pretty good deal. its 100% viscose. which I had no idea what that was and had to look it up but its a really nice fabric. the dress is from Factorie.

 

 

 

this mint green top for $5 which I love and its good for summer I already own the white shorts. this is my OOTD, I just paired it with black canvas shoes. :)

 

and I was thinking on buying this black dress but I decided not to and no I want to got back and get it! loll



 

 

that was all that  bought I love them ha-ha. I will upload more photos as soon as they actually work and post more
